Mystery Box Delivery Service
We know that Canberrans miss not being able to visit the library because of COVID-19 restrictions. We’re excited to bring you our Mystery Box delivery service.
This service has been extended through to the end of March 2023. There are limited spaces available.
In addition to this service we have the Home Library Service (eligibility criteria apply). Check if you are eligible for Home Library Service.
Here’s how Mystery Box works:
- Sign up for the service by completing the online registration form.
- Confirm your library membership number. If you are not a Libraries ACT member yet, it's free and easy to join online.
- Let us know your ability to visit the library has been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
- Select the genre you are interested in from the options on the registration form.
- Our friendly staff will hand-pick a surprise selection of items to be delivered to you.
- Get excited! We will notify you by email to let you know when your contactless delivery will arrive.
- Enjoy your Mystery Box items for 4 weeks.
- The Mystery Box will be collected after 4 weeks and a new one will be delivered. Delivery and collection will be contactless.
Important information about contactless services: For your safety and ours, please don't come outside when we make the deliveries. Wait until we have left, then enjoy your Mystery Box.
