Multicultural library services

Libraries ACT have books, DVDs, CDs, magazines and newspapers in 23 languages other than English. Some items are available online too.

International Mother Tongue Day: Download the activity booklet (PDF 2.0 MB) and get your family and friends to help you fill it in!

Our digital resources include ones for learning languages. You can login with your library membership to use Road to IELTS, Clear Pronunciation, Active Reading, Practical Writing, and Tense Buster.

You can even learn English in your native language or learn over 70 over world languages with the Mango Languages app. Create your own login to track your progress, or if not, use 'Guest Access'.

We also have LOTE4Kids. It has books in languages around the world, and English translations.
