Community Rooms 1 and 2
Can be booked individually or together to make one larger room.
Community Studio
Suitable for demonstrations (e.g. food but not cooking, craft, floristry) and includes a ceiling-mounted angled mirror for demonstration viewing purposes.
The Haven
For quiet study, reading and relaxation. Main floor area not bookable, always open during library opening hours. Includes 2 bookable work pods that seat a maximum 2 people (includes a table and chairs which are surrounded by glass walls).
The Gathering
For collaborative informal discussions and meetings. Not a bookable space, always open during library opening hours.
Life Lab
A large flexible, multifunctional space which can be booked for a variety of activities.
Recording and Rehearsal Studio (The Hive)
A professional soundproof space, fitted with latest state of the art audio and video equipment, perfect for producing high quality audio recording, video production and livestreaming. With the professional level automated cameras, the voice and instrument microphones, the roof fitted automated lighting, and the green screen, this versatile room will cater your needs for audiovisual and live streaming production, musical performance and recording, or just the perfect space to rehearse with a band.
Control Room (The Hive)
The control room is the brain of our audiovisual studio setup; is equipped with a 32 channel Presonus audio console for professional level recording; as well as a Birddog PTZ control mixer for the cameras in the studio and a programmable lighting desk, to take your live streaming and video production to the next level.
Podcast Suite (The Hive)
A fully equipped audio studio with all the equipment to produce professional quality audio for your podcast or production.
