Bringing the library to your doorstep
Can’t make it to a library but love to read? No worries! The Home Library Service (HLS) is here to cater to your reading needs, especially if you're facing challenges like disability, illness, being a full-time carer, or limited mobility.
How it works
To get started with HLS, complete our online application form, or download a copy (DOC 120.7 KB) and fill it out so that we know what challenges are making it hard for your to access the library, and what kinds of books or materials you would like.
If you're applying on behalf of an organisation or residential facility, we've got you covered too! Just complete the online application form for organisations or download a copy (DOC 128 KB).
What we offer
As a member of the Home Library Service, you'll have access to a wide range of materials including:
- Books in standard or large print
- Books on CDs
- Music CDs
- DVDs

- Reader's Digest in large print
