Online Kids' Programs
We're excited to bring you two of our most popular kids' programs to you online. Join us for Giggle & Wiggle Online (ages 0-2) and Online Story Time (ages 3-5), with library staff sharing some of our favourite songs, rhymes and Australian picture books. There's also Bilingual Story Time Online celebrating and sharing some of the cultures that make Canberra so rich and diverse.
Thank you to the Australian Society of Authors, Australian Publishers' Association and the Australian Library and Information Association for allowing us to bring stories to you in this way.
Read Local author conversations
How much do you know about Canberra’s fabulous authors? There are many talented authors in our region, and some joined us for Read Local, our online series of author conversations facilitated by well-known local journalists Andrew Bell and Louise Maher.
Explore Canberra and its history
Discover historical images of Canberra through the ACT Heritage Library's photograph collection.
Explore the service of men and women from the district on the ACT Memorial and read some of their stories.
The ACT Heritage Library has been creating a COVID-19 Community Archive that documents Canberrans’ lives during this unprecedented time in our history. You can contribute to this unique collection.
