We have launched a new trial Mystery Box delivery service! If your access to the library is currently impacted by COVID-19 restrictions, you will be able to choose your preferred genres and we will hand-pick items to create a special Mystery Box just for you. The Mystery Box will be delivered contactless right to your door so that you can enjoy some of the many resources we have from the comfort of your own home.

Terms and conditions

  • This trial service is designed to facilitate service limitations so we can meet mandated restrictions due to Covid-19. There will initially be 2,000 places available in this trial.
  • The Service will only be available for Libraries ACT members that live in the ACT. If you are not a member you can join online for free.
  • Orders for child members will need to be placed by an adult member.
  • Contactless delivery conditions apply.
  • Limit of 1 box per member (up to 10 items, with a maximum of 5 kg) for each 4 week trial period.
  • Customers cannot select specific titles i.e. they may get some items they have previously read/borrowed prior to this trial.
  • Time/date of deliveries cannot be guaranteed. Delivery periods will depend on demand and staffing capacity.
