Documentation from a streetscape study conducted by Strine Designs of the central suburbs of Canberra for the Territory Government.
Suburbs studied were Ainslie, Barton, Braddon, Deakin, Downer, Forrest, Griffith, Kingston, Narrabundah, O’Connor, Red Hill and Yarralumla.
A selection of streets from each suburb was assessed for streetscape qualities to set standards to allow consistent development and landscaping. The elements considered were:

The record for each street assessment includes a site plan showing street, and block numbers, a sketch of a typical section of the streetscape and a colour photographic print of the street, a completed assessment sheet, summary of streetscape quality and recommendations for conservation and remedial action.
The collection is arranged alphabetically by suburb. There is a summary sheet for each suburb and the assessment documentation for each sheet is separately stored in a plastic sleeve.
