ACT Heritage Library Publications Collections

We hold books, serials, dvds, videos and grey literature documenting the history and development of Canberra and the ACT.

All items are searchable through the Libraries ACT online catalogue.

Most of the items are only available for use at the ACT Heritage Library although some items are available online through National eDeposit linked from the catalogue record, or have been digitised and are attached to the catalogue record.

We also maintain two lending collections.

• the lending collection at the ACT Heritage Library which contains works that are of interest to local researchers and family historians, and
• the Local Author Showcase is at the Civic branch. It contains recent works by local authors.

Both lending collections are searchable through the lLibraries ACT online catalogue, may be requested for collection at any Libraries ACT branch and may be borrowed for up to four weeks.
