Planning the ACT Together (PACTT) was formed in the 1990s by a group of Canberra citizens who were appalled at what they saw as the developer-driven control of Canberra planning and building.  It was a lobby group whos purpose was to pressure the ACT Ministers to take citizens' views into account and to prevent what it saw as the worst excesses of development.  PACTT members met mothly.

The organisation folded around 2008 partly due to its failure to make a worthwhile impression on the Goverment and partly due to the death of its guiding light, Dr. Mack Dickins who was virtually a full-time worker on the cause of a better and greater vision for Canberra.
