Gita Curnow was a Commonwealth Public Servant with the Department of Transport working in the Trace Building, on the corner of Cooyong Street and Northbourne Avenue, Braddon.

A keen photographer, Gita photographed construction sites from the first floor of the Trace Building. Photographs detail local traffic, construction equipment and techniques. They tell an intimate story of construction in the early 1990s in Canberra.

All photographic prints are colour and size 15 x 10cm.
