St Augustine’s Roman Catholic church was built on the corner of Beasley Street and Dreverman Street, Farrer in the 1970s.

Fr Parker John Maloney was the first parish priest of St Augustine’s.

These photographs precede the construction of the church and show Father Maloney celebrating the Stations of the Cross on the site of the church.

All photographs are in colour and measure 13 x 9 cm.

They were donated to the ACT Heritage Library by Father Maloney’s niece, Mrs. Hooper.
