This is a sepia toned print, 38 x 48cm, of Canberra taken from Red Hill in the late 1930s. At left is St Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, Forrest, which was dedicated in 1934. Collins Park is at centre right with Kingston, the Power House and workshops beyond. It was possibly taken by William James Mildenhall, an early official photographer of Canberra.
The photograph is pasted to thin board and was framed at some time. There is slight damage along the lower edge.
The photograph was donated by Margaret Roscoe.
