A selection of Canberra photographs from a collection of NSW photographs donated ca 2000 to a school fete stall. They were unsold, and were taken by Marian Halton to sort and offer to appropriate collecting institutions. The hand-coloured postcard is one that appears in many variations throughout the 1930s and 1940s. All the photographs are captioned and dated by the original owner.
