A collection of 41 black and white photographic negatives created from prints held in several local repositories.
The images are in two main chronological groups: the 1920s and the 1950s.
The majority of the 1950s photographs are represented in the Department of Capital Territory's "Pictorial record of Canberra, 1951-1953" albums, volumes 1 and 2, held by the ACT Heritage Library. The images are digitally available.
The 1920s photographs are mainly Mildenhall images held at the National Archives of Australia in the Mildenhall Collection of Glass Plate Negatives, NAA Series 3560. The 1929 Mildenhall/Progress negatives may have been in preparation for the next volume in the Progress Photographs, NAA Series A5342. However, NAA has no record of such an album, either in preparation or in existence.
Each image is identified where possible, as well as the location of the originating collection. Links are provided to the digital version of the image where it exists.
