Heritage Walk, Women's History Month 2022

Women's History Month Heritage Walk

Civic Square, March 2022

Women march for the right to work 1977

Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people should be aware that this Heritage Walk contains images and names of deceased people.

March is National Women’s History month. To mark this event the ACT Heritage Library has created a 10 station Heritage Walk in Civic Square.

The walk honours the legacy of 9 Canberra women in the fields of health, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, politics, education, disability, advocacy, the arts, community service and migrant services.
