Two volumes of newscuttings taken from The Canberra Times on matters concerning the development of Canberra as the Capital City of Australia 11/05/1931-14/02/1933 and 01/07/1959-30/06/1960.

Cuttings have been glued into the book and the first volume includes a manuscript index compiled at the beginning of the volume.

Internal evidence suggests that books created for an official purpose as they are more substantial than a general interest/hobbyist scrap book.
