The ACT Red Hill Bush Regenerators Inc is a volunteer group which undertakes bush regeneration on Red Hill Nature Reserve.

The group was founded in 1989 as part of ParkCare, established by the ACT government as a volunteer community bush regeneration organization among the Canberra community. At a meeting in the Griffin Centre in Civic in 1989 (called by the ACT Government) the ACT Red Hill Bush Regenerators Inc became an original member group of ParkCare. Michael Mulvaney was the original organiser of the group and was instrumental in canvassing the ACT Government for the formation of ParkCare.

The group originally called itself the Red Hill Regenerators. At the instigation of the ACT government all ParkCare groups were incorporated under the Associations Incorporation Act 1991. As part of this process the group’s name became the ACT Red Hill Bush Regenerators Inc.  Despite this official change of name the group is often informally referred to as the Red Hill Regenerators (RHR).

The group’s primary focus has been to facilitate the regeneration of native bushland in Red Hill Nature Park primarily by the removal of environmental weeds.  This has been accomplished by physical weeding activities held on a monthly basis by members of the group. Grants obtained via various government conservation programs has also allowed the group to arrange for the Australian Trust for Conservation Volunteers (now Conservation Volunteers) and other groups  to undertake weeding activities on Red Hill.

As a consequence of its work on Red Hill, the RHR has also been actively involved in other conservation issues affecting Red Hill directly and Canberra Nature Park more broadly.
