Fairbairn Preschool, for children of personnel at the Royal Australian Air Force base, opened in January 1952, was incorporated in 1985 and closed in December 1992. From January 1993 the children were given the option of attending Duntroon Preschool.
The collection consists mainly of class rolls, minutes of meetings, meeting reports and attendance records, and financial records.
