Historian Susan Mary Woolcock Withycombe researched and wrote the 1993 book, Ethos and ethics : a history of the Law Society of the Australian Capital Territory, 1933-1993.  She recorded oral histories with twenty senior legal practitioners in the course of that research. They recollect life in the law and in Canberra from 1930 to 1992.

To celebrate its 75th anniversary in 2009, the ACT Law Society digitised those recordings and deposited them with the ACT Heritage Library.
