Tim Ellis, the donor of this image, was a member of the Canberra Repertory Society.
To celebrate the jubilee of Federation, the ACT Jubliee Celebrations Committee organised a jubilee pageant with a cast of 1,000 to be presented on Capital Hill.
There were four main episodes, the second of which was a depitciton of bushrangers "bailing up" a Cobb and Co stage coach.
An authentic coach was secured and renovated at the Governmetn Workshops in Kingston. The coach and four were driven by Hansard report, Mr Leo O'Donnell and the "Bushrangers" wee students of the Forestry School will using revolvers and blank ammunition from the Royal Military College to hold up the coach.
Mr Ellis and members of the Canberra Repertory Society were coach passengers. The photograph shows the coach and passengers.
Depicted are: Tim Ellis, Scott Campbell, Dorothy Campbell, Mrs O'Donnell, Dixie (Miss W Dixon-Lennet), Bill Wells, Joan Lynraven, Leo O'Donnell, Joan Barber, Joyce Goodes, M. Ellis and the children were Jane and Dinah Goodes and Geoffrey Lynraven.
