The Canberra Theatre Centre established a Luncheon Club in January 1979. Visiting artists were invited to speak to members and guests at Maggie’s, the restaurant in the Theatre Centre. The first speaker was June Bronhill, on 16 January 1979.
Terry Vaughn was executive director of the Canberra Theatre Trust. His farewell in 1980 was the first occasion on which a non-performer was the guest of honour.
The collection consists of three audio CDs copied from audio tapes held by Maurine Rogers for television channel CTC7’s 40th anniversary exhibition, April-July 2005.
