Rocky Knob Park, block 74 section 79 Narrabundah, contains granite boulders related to the Narrabundah Tors across the street and also gives panoramic views of Canberra. In August 1987 local residents, led by Bernard Collaery, protested for several weeks against plans to build on the site. The protest was successful and the area was gazetted as a park.

The photographs were among papers from P B "Bert" Sheedy donated to the Local Studies Collection at Queanbeyan City Library, and were transferred to the ACT Heritage Library.

There are 8 black and white photographs of the demonstration and 9 black and white general views of Rocky Knob or Knoll, not individually captions, plus two unrelated photographs, one black and white photograph of the vicinity of Brassey House in 1972 and one colour photograph of flowering shrubs in the garden of 76 Stuart Street, Narrabundah.

 All prints are 9 x 12 cm.
