Shaping Library Services in Gungahlin - A Community Invitation

As part of the new Gungahlin College campus development, the ACT Government has announced the development of a new public library as a part of the campus to be shared between the college and the community.

All partners involved in the development of this new library are focused on creating a library that goes beyond the traditional to meet the learning, literacy, information technology, economic, recreational and social needs of the community.

The ACT Government invites Gungahlin residents and representatives from local groups and organisations who are interested in providing input into this project to register their intention to attend the workshop with the ACT Government by Thursday 7 February 2008.

The workshop is critical to ensure that the community’s needs and aspirations are gained to inform the planning for the the proposed Gungahlin Library.
