Volunteering or getting work experience at the library

Volunteering is a great way to get involved in your community, learn new skills, make friends and have fun. Check out our volunteering page and see the range of activities you could be involved with. You can apply to open positions through the Volunteering ACT website.

Note: volunteers under sixteen years must have parental permission.

If you are interested in finding out what it’s like to work in a public library then you might be interested in organising some work experience. Have a look at the page about work experience for more information or to apply.
