What is the Mobile Library?

The Mobile Library visits set locations around Canberra on a fortnightly basis. It carries books in standard print and large print, books on CD, music CDs, DVDs, and magazines. It also provides access to the Internet and resources located in the library branches.
Collecting requests from the Mobile Library
All library members who borrow from the Mobile Library are allocated a stop number so that we know where they will pick up requested items. Due to the number of sites visited over a two week cycle, when the Mobile Library goes out it can only carry requests allocated to be picked up at the stops visited on that particular day.
If you would like to pick up a request from a different stop, please contact the Mobile Library two days in advance to make sure your request is available. You can contact the library by phone on 6205 9000.
