WHAT'S ON at Libraries ACT?

There's something for everyone at the library, with regular programs and special events designed to captivate all ages! 

All events are free of charge and places are limited. Bookings are essential for most programs. You can book online, at any branch or call 6205 9000.

Activities include something for all ages including family activities and school holiday programs, digital literacy/tech training, health and lifestyle  sessions and other special interest talks, workshops and demonstrations.

Special programs

  • Free Voter information sessions - English and translated sessions available
    24 & 27 June 2016 (various times and locations)
    In the lead up to the Federal Election, Libraries ACT are running free information sessions to help you better understand the electoral process and make your vote counts. Sessions will be presented in English and two community languages.

Regular programs 

  • Giggle & Wiggle - interactive learning through language play for 0-2 year olds.
  • Story time - interactive learning through stories, rhymes and songs for 3-5 year olds
  • Book clubs
  • Love2Read - Find book and reading related events at other Love2Read organisations in Canberra.
  • Learning and social groups - There are plenty of independent and community groups that also meet at our libraries. You are welcome to join in!
