Internet and computer training is available at the library, and is usually delivered by volunteers. Please note that some sessions are reserved for seniors while others are open to all.
Bookings are essential, and can be made in person or by phone on 6205 9000.

Online Computer Training
LearningFast is a program of interactive self-paced computer training which is subscribed to by the library on behalf of library members.
Using LearningFast you can learn everything from computer basics, to building your own website, and everything in-between.
To access LearningFast you will need a valid library membership number and PIN. The first time you use LearningFast you will be asked to fill in a online registration form. From then on you will have access to both Teach Me and ICT Skills Benchmark.
Teach Me
Teach Me has hundreds of fully interactive online computer tutorials including:
- Introduction to computers
- Microsoft Office - covering programs such as Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Access, Project and Outlook.
- Lotus Notes
- MYOB
- Searching the Internet Effectively
- Creating Web Pages
- Dreamweaver MX
- Frontpage
- Adobe Photoshop
- Adobe Illustrator
- Acrobat Reader
Each tutorial is supported by full text, searchable and printable online manuals.

ICT Skills Benchmark
ICT Skills Benchmark is aimed at the novice computer user. It teaches users fundamental Information Communication Technologies (ICT) learning competencies, including:
- Information Technology Concepts
- Functions of a Personal Computer
- The Internet and Networks
- Searching the Internet Effectively
- Word Processing
- Spreadsheets
- Presentations
- Databases and Filing Systems
Upon completion, users receive an ICT Skills Benchmark Achievement Certificate.
