Tips for finding what you're interested in


Each item in a library collection will have a record in the catalogue. The record describes the item – its size, format and content.

Subjects

Subject Headings are used to describe the content of an item. You can search the catalogue by subject.

Examples of useful subject headings

Searching the catalogue with the term 'Aboriginal Australians' will give you items on a range of topics. For example:
