Libraries ACT endorses the National policy framework for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander library services (PDF 4.52 MB) and is committed to implementing the ATSILIRN Protocols 2012. AIATSIS is advising Libraries ACT in this process.

We include Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander content and presenters in programs offered to the public. Establishing an Elders-in-residence program is a current initiative.
