National and State Libraries Australasia (NSLA) Policies

National and State Libraries Australasia (NSLA) is the peak body for national, state and territory libraries in Australia and New Zealand. As a member of NSLA, Libraries ACT is committed to the progressive implementation of NSLA's strategic directions, including:

Our library is guided by the  Position Statement on Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Services and Collections developed by the National and State Libraries Australasia (NSLA).

We acknowledge Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the traditional owners and custodians of Australia.

Our policies for the management of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander library services and collections are guided by national and international protocols.
