The ACT Cataloguers’ Group of Australian Library and Information Association was a special interest group, the purpose of which was to provide continuing education for cataloguers in Canberra and District. It usually held seminars two or three times a year, and also invited speakers to general meetings.

The group flourished during the 1980s when computer technology was beginning to affect library processes, and new cataloguing standards were being introduced.  The group ceased operation in about 1991.

Most of the records held relate directly to the organisation of professional development workshops, courses and seminars.
