Bibaringa Homestead is an Agistment Services Property located at 118 Cotter Road, Stromlo. Canberra resident Roz Hodsdon held horses at Bibaringa Homstead for 9 years. Previously She had agisted at Cooleman Farm (Champion Family's) until the property was sold, and then moved across to Bibaringa. She had a private paddock and 2 stables at Bibaringa, for which she paid a weekly fee and signed an agistment contract. The owner of the property, John Guth, maintained roads and fences. People could ride on the property or around Cotter and the pine forests. Other stables (at the top of the hill) were provided and an arena for the use of agisters or for lessons.
The collection contains predominantly photographs post the 2003 Canberra bushfires. Two photographs are of the same area, a month apart - one before the devastation of the fire and the other two days after the fire. Roz's horses William and Annie feature in some of the photographs.
