The ACT Equestrian Association (ACTEA) consists of affiliated equestrian sporting and recreational clubs and associations. It was formed to lobby the National Capital Authority and the Commonwealth Government and, later, the ACT Government to maintain and improve equestrian facilities in the ACT. These include Hall Showground, Exhibition Park and Equestrian Park, Yarralumla. Other areas of interest are the pony club grounds, trails and horse keeping facilities.
The original deposit consisted of records concerning the involvement of the ACT Equestrian Association in the development and alterations to Equestrian Park, Canberra. A second deposit in 2015 included minutes of general and committee meetings, correspondence, and records of equestrian events such as participation in the Masters Games in Canberra in 1997.
