ACT Parks and Conservation has responsibility for both city parks and nature reserves. Maintenance of forests, wildlife and settlement ruins, and interaction with the community by conducting walks and supervising campgrounds, are just some of the areas of activity.
This collection of colour photographs of places and activities in the ACT appear to relate to such responsibilities in the 1970s. They are printed onto aluminium and were evidently used as display signs. All but one are numbered, and all have Velcro or similar mounting strips on the back, suggesting that they were used for indoor or protected display areas.
